We decided to have a break and relax at Ciano Umok Gallery after a good hike in Mt. Kabugbugan. The gallery is owned by Mr. Cesar Dumo, an Ilokano artist who also resides in Bauang, La Union. Ciano is the name of Mr. Dumo’s great grandfather, while “umok”, is an Ilokano word means nest. That is how the name of the gallery derived from.

When I was there, while viewing this amazing, work of art, I didn’t notice there is a boy on it, until I just saw it while scrolling from my mobile album. It only means I am not yet a good reader or interpreter of arts. But I truly appreciates their work of art.

This place serve breakfast meals and they also offers merienda like Halo-Halo and Pansit.

Halo-Halo (P80.00) The taste is so creamy because they used ice cream instead of ice. It’s so delicious! You should try it too.

I hope you could visit this place too, or should I ask, If you visited already, what can you say about this place?
